Maggie Green utilizes a combination of traditional teaching methods with modern and creative approaches to learning music. The development of aural skills as well as improvisatory and compositional skills are important part of musical growth. Maggie’s experience as a jazz vocalist and performer gives her insight into real-life musical experience, and what skills need to be transmitted in a private-lesson setting.
Lesson Pricing 30 Minute Weekly Lessons In studio or online: $150 per month 45 Minute Weekly Lessons In studio or online: $225 per month 60 Minute Weekly Lessons In studio or online: $300 per month
Studio Policies
Tuition pays to reserve your weekly lesson time. Payments are due the first business day of each month. Accepted methods of payment are cash or check, or online via Venmo or Zelle.
Makeups are NOT guaranteed. If there is another available spot within that month, the student may be offered that lesson time. Teacher cancellations WILL be made up at an agreed upon time within the month. Holidays that will be made up include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Christmas, and Thanksgiving.
If a student enrolls in the middle of the month, the fee will be prorated for the amount of lessons received.
Lesson fee includes two formal performance opportunities in a recital hall per year. Additional materials (books, accessories, supplemental lessons) are not included in monthly lesson fee.
Practice – Daily practice of at least 5 days a week is recommended for a student to progress on his or her instrument.
Elementary students – 10 to 30 minutes per day Middle school students – 30 to 45 minutes per day High school students – 45 to 60 minutes per day
